Hypertension is the number one leading cause of death in the United States. It is estimated that 45% of adults have hypertension, and the majority (75%+) are either not managing it or don’t know they have high blood pressure.  The impact to heart health due to COVID has been experienced by many, including a decrease in diagnostic testing and an increase in mortality. There are many factors that impact heart health, including gender, ethnicity, geography and social determinants of health.
