Chuck Rolph Technical Director, Advanced Consulting Group

Chuck Rolph, JD, MSFS, CFP®, AIFA®, works with retirement plan financial professionals to help them close significant new cases and to resolve problems with existing plans. In working with financial professionals on their clients’ retirement plans, Chuck blends planning, investment, and fiduciary elements to create a unique solution for each situation. Chuck started his financial services career in 1977 with a major life insurance company in Des Moines, Iowa. He joined Nationwide’s Advanced Consulting Group in 2010, where he supports the sales and service efforts of the retirement plans division. 


Scott V. Wagner, Partner, Morris, Manning & Martin LLP

Scott Wagner counsels clients to address and solve a wide-range of employee benefits issues, including retirement plan, executive compensation, and health and welfare plan matters. Scott has extensive experience with executive compensation and equity matters, and various other federal and state laws related to health and welfare plans. Scott also often works with clients on employee benefits and executive compensation issues involved in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions. 

Chelsea Deppert, Associate, Morris, Manning & Martin LLP

Chelsea Deppert provides practical guidance to employers on the technical aspects of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and other state and federal laws impacting the design, implementation and ongoing compliance of employee benefit plans and programs, executive compensation arrangements, severance programs, and health and welfare arrangements. Chelsea works with employers on a broad array of issues relating to tax qualified retirement plans, such as plan operation, drafting, participant communications and compliance with ERISA’s fiduciary responsibility provisions.

Jim McMurtray is the Director of Benefits Delivery for Piedmont Healthcare—a Georgia-based integrated healthcare system—comprised of 15 hospitals, 2,500+ physicians, and more than 27,000 employees. Jim has over 30 years of HR and benefits experience, including payroll and FMLA administration, mergers and acquisitions, welfare and retirement plans, paid time off programs, and HCM systems. In his current role, Jim is responsible for the employee experience and service delivery for all Piedmont benefit plans and programs as well as specialized offerings for executives and physicians.

As Supervisory Benefits Advisor, Alycya manages a staff of nine Benefits Advisors who are responsible for providing technical information, guidance, and assistance to plan participants and their beneficiaries, plan administrators, fiduciaries, third party administrators, service providers, and other interested parties regarding rights and obligations under the law. Alycya holds a Juris Doctor degree from New England School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tennessee State University.

Prior to forming HBL, Anne Tyler Hall practiced ERISA and Benefits law with Alston & Bird, LLP and King & Spalding, LLP, two of Atlanta’s largest law firms. As a business owner representing businesses, Anne Tyler understands first-hand the importance of strategically-designed, legally-compliant benefit plans aimed at attracting, motivating, and retaining top employees. Prior to joining Wondr in 2013, Todd spent 14 years as a senior executive at The Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas. The Emmy award-winning broadcaster is an honors graduate of UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology and exercise physiology.

Erika Grace is Head of Financial Wellness and Digital Strategy for Empower Retirement. In her role, she is responsible for establishing and delivering Empower Retirement’s Financial Wellness strategy including bringing together Empower Retirement’s best-in-class financial wellness digital and individual tools and services. Erika holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts and her MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from BayPath University. Erika is an adjunct professor and currently maintains her FINRA Series 6 securities registration.
